Colares Residential home

The intervention includes the rehabilitation and strengthening of an existing building with a semi-buried basement, two elevated floors, and the use of the attic, as well as the expansion with an new external element and a new underground garage and access tunnel, totaling a construction area of 750 m2. The architectural proposal envisions the demolition of the interior of the building due to its considerably degraded condition and its reconstruction in concrete. Gravidade was responsible for the development of Structural and Foundations projects from concept to detailed design and for the coordination of all the engineering disciplines.
