Brejos da Carregueira Villa

The villa comprises a set of five ground-floor buildings and a swimming pool, totalling 500m² of construction. With semi-direct foundations and a reinforced concrete base, the structure of the buildings is entirely on timber. It is a frame system with glulam sections in the walls and apparent round sections on the roofs. The entire enclosure is braced with OSB panels. Gravidade was responsible for the development of Structural and Foundations projects from concept to detailed design and for the coordination of all the engineering disciplines.
