Multi-residential complex in Montijo

The multi-residential building located at Rua Joaquim de Almeida 164-166, in Montijo includes 60 dwellings and 4 shops totalling a GCA of 16,000m². The underground floor is used for parking, storage and technical areas, the ground floor houses shops, dwellings and a garden area with a swimming pool and, finally, the upper floors are for residential use. It is a reinforced concrete structure divided into four blocks with solid flat slabs of constant thickness. The bottom face of the slabs are apparent in many of the residential spaces. Gravidade was responsible for the development of Structural and Foundations projects from concept to detailed design and for the coordination of all the engineering disciplines.
